Dual-axis controller
An astronomical algorithm and a position sensor work together to drive the slew drive and the linear actuator. Built-in GPS, an anemometer and storm protection move the structure into a safe position automatically, and at night it returns to its morning position. Bluetooth, WiFi and 4G communication, sensor and software rotation monitoring. Rain and snow cleaning modes are optional.

A single-axis system only tracks east to west. A dual-axis tracker also adjusts the north-south tilt, so it is more efficient.

The structure is made of hot-dip galvanised steel with axial and linear drive motors and a central control unit. The steel frame is maintenance-free for 30-40 years, and we give a 5-year warranty on the fully waterproof motors and the control electronics.
